Welcome to the fourth pilot episode of The Theme Show.
The original setlist for the episode, entitled “Christmas,” aired on Winamp on December 16, 1999.
For some reason I thought having a double length episode was the way to go with this one. I suppose I’ll chalk it up to this being a Christmas episode, and I had grandiose visions of people sitting down to open presents with my playlist as a soundtrack despite not every song on here being appropriate for family gatherings. What can I say? Like many 20-somethings (at the time) I thought I was a cool edge-lord by putting a lot of swears and explicit material in the mix.
This set breaks from the original format, as I had no contest and that there were enough polka songs that they are spread throughout. This format without the Workout and Obligatory Polka, would eventually become the norm.
