So, I started the Wii Fit today. It is, in fact, a workout—but then again, I suppose that’s the point. Right now, my calf muscles feel seriously worked out.
I didn’t realize I couldn’t review individual exercise scores afterward, so next time I’ll jot them down during the session and come back to edit. From what I remember, the only two things I was really good at were the yoga breathing exercise and strength training squats.
Despite the good breathing score, I know I’ve got work to do in that area. The rating was mostly based on how well I balanced while breathing—not the breathing itself. I’m a lifelong mouth breather (ugh), and while I’m trying to change that, it’s not easy breaking a habit this old. At this point I’m seriously considering using packing tape or something to force it shut! 😅

I’ve set a goal of –22 lbs in three months, which the game tells me means about 3.5 lbs/week. That feels… doable? Probably? Maybe?
The tricky part will be consistency. I’m pretty self-conscious working out around others, so I’ll likely skip weekends when my husband is home and stick to a Monday–Friday plan. Here’s hoping the introvert workout strategy holds.
