Short Bio: Basara Kubikiri
Once a peaceful man living with his beloved Kagaribi in the village of Tanba, Basara’s life was shattered when the demon swordsman Zankuro Minazuki massacred everyone he held dear. Slain alongside her, Basara’s final thoughts were of vengeance—and that fury pulled him back from death.
Now a restless revenant, Basara wields a chained shuriken and shadow-born powers, slipping between dimensions with a shrill laugh and a fractured mind. Though Zankuro was eventually defeated, Basara found no peace. His path led him to Shimabara, where he learned he’d been revived by the dark sorcerer Amakusa. He sought to destroy him, but failed—his soul captured and sealed away.
In the darkness, Basara still calls out to Kagaribi. She answers, distant and fading, always just beyond reach. He follows her voice, not knowing if it leads to peace… or deeper madness.
